• Yankee Doodle Pops

  
  
  Celebrate Independence Day with a long running tradition as Mediacom Connections presents the Yankee Doodle Pops.  The Des Moines Orchestra has been entering fans with this free concert on the grounds of the State Capitol for 15 years.  The 2009 concert features Broadway Star Brad Little, famous for his role in Phantom of the Opera.  If you wish to see the Pops in style, tickets for the viewing party can be purchased from the Symphony's website.  Mediacom will provide a live coverage of the Pops to the Historical Building Terrace.  The concert takes place Thursday, July 2, but can be seen on the Connections Channel all Weekend long.  Check back here for specific air times.
